The Last Of Us: Rescued, The Last Resort is the next big blockbuster for Naughty Dog, but this trailer is actually the first time the studio has shown off a first-and-final look at Ellie, the main character.
The trailer, which was first spotted by NeoGAF user rav4 , shows Ellie with her hair tied back in a ponytail, wearing a black sweater and black sneakers.
It’s unclear whether the trailer shows her in the first or second person.
The trailer also shows Ellie walking through a forest, and showing her older sister Anna.
“I’ll be your first, then Ellie, then Anna,” Anna says.
“That’s how we all came to be.”
We can expect to see more of Ellie in the sequel, as the trailer has Ellie, Joel, and Ellie’s brother Michael fighting a boss monster.
In the trailer, we see Ellie fighting a large, green, armored creature in the forest.
“When we started, it was about survival,” Ellie says.
She then explains that the boss was an “old man,” which is also her dad’s name.
“So, what is the difference between being a kid and being a adult?”
“We’re the old man, so we can make decisions about what to do.”
In the next trailer, Joel is shown getting out of the car and putting Ellie in a car.
The trailer also includes Ellie riding in the back of a car, and it appears that the car Ellie was in has a seat belt.
